I loved this book. The author had a way of making Abigail's life come alive. By the time I finished the book I felt like Abigail was one of my "Dearest Friends".

This account of a life begins when Abigail is a girl, extends through her courtship and marriage to President john Adams. This book speaks of the trials and tribulations of their marriage,raising of children and politics. I found it to be an interesting and informal read.
