This story of Albert Joghson, is so full of adventure and mystery, holding the reader's atention from cover to cover. A true story about a loner, deadly shot, who in 1932 triggered a gruelling manhunt and has become an arctic legend. For 6 weeks he outsmarted trappers, soldiers, indians, and a radio pilot airplane. He was involved in four shootouts, killing one policeman, and gravely wounnding two other men before being shot to death. (see illustration) To this day, no one ever knew who Albert Johnson was. You may have seen a Hollywood movie based on his story starring Lee Majors As a sldier, andCharles Bronson as Albert Johnson. A great read for older children and adults alike.
