Search - Death Qualified (Barbara Holloway, Bk 1)

This book has great courtroom drama and a twisting plot that moves swiftly. Interesting surprise ending. Even if you figure out what will happen, you won't be able to guess HOW it happens. Characters are well developed to the point that you find yourself mentally insisting that they do or don't do certain acts.

Excellent fast paced book. Great and lovable characters. Lots of villains. Very strange ending but overall a great read.

This book is a good introduction to the Barbara Holloway series. Kate Wilhelm has created a brilliant lawyer with a conscience, and personal problems that she must deal with, while solving other people's very complicated problems.
This book involves her defending a woman accused of killing her husband, who has returned after disappearing for 7 years.
I enjoyed it very much.
