This is a quirky book, maybe I should've read the first in the series before I read this one, I think I would've had a better feel for the characters then. But I wanted to read a Christmas mystery during Christmas. I liked it, although I figured out the mystery before the sleuth did and I'm still puzzled why western Pennsylvanians talk like they live further south. The finish was very dramatic and found it difficult to put down. I now feel I should read the first in the series before I read anymore.
This is an entertaining and funny series.
Lots going on and fun characters. Enjoyed it alot.
A Tori Miracle Mystery. In a twn called Lickin Creek a grinch won't steal Christmas but a killer might. A boy goes missing, a 30 year old mystery resurfaces and two people are murdered.
Crazy names. Entertaining tale.
These stories vary considerably in their appeal to me, but this is the best one yet.
I just love this series, it's funny, totally unrealistic, but for some reason for me it all works. By this one, the fourth book in the series, you are really beginning to know Tori and her band of improbable cohorts (some of whom are making repeat appearances here). All in all, I give it four stars.
Book 4 of the Tori Miracle cozy series; with a Christmas time setting. But picture this, a story of Christmas, a live nativity, and what? a Wiccan gathering? Another fun, easy to read, book by Malmont.
