Some not-so-bad stuff, some pretty good stuff, some quite forgettable stuff. My biggest question is: why bother putting together an anthology and make it so short? I guess they think younger people will be intimidated by "big" books?
"Be afraid. Be VERY afraid. This collection of terrifying stories peels back the skin of daily life, exposing the horror underneath. Meet the boy who buys a werewolf mask for Halloween, only to meet a real werewolf; a bathtub that transforms its owners into ax murderers; an after-school job where you pay...with your life. Incoluding the classic Dracula and stories by Stephen King and Robert Westall, here is a book you'll never be able to forget--no matter how hard you try."
Scary stories from the following authors:
Pete Johnson, Stephen King, Robert Westall, Guy De Maupassant, Laurence Staig, Roald Dahl, Kenneth Ireland, John Gordon, Bram Stoker, Anthony Horowitz.
