This brand new story set in a historical setting at the time of our war between the states, was one I really enjoyed with the theme of one of my favorite verses (Psalm 30:5)

It is about a girl named Deborah having been forced to marry and when her husband is killed and barely cold in the grave her father forces her into another arranged marriage to a complete stranger. This time a widow with a 2 year old and a newborn far away from her home, her mother and her brother. Deborah has no idea how to take care of children and her new husband tells her that he cannot watch another wife die in childbirth so their marriage will be an in name only affair.
