Before posting these in the Book Bazaar Multiple WL thread, I figured I'd give my HF buddies a first shot. I am asking for minimum orders of 2. All these books are in excellent condition; the hardbacks have dust jackets; we have two cats so I can't guarantee that you won't find a cat hair or two.

My Name is Mary Sutter by Oliveira (WL 323)

Girl in a Blue Dress by Arnold (WL 69)

Here Be Dragons by Penman (WL 15)

Wicked Appetite by Evanovich (WL 660)

Best Friends Forever by Weiner (WL 45)

Deb beat me down and MADE me take two of her books.  When DH fusses, I'm blaming it on Deb.

Yep, I forced her -- just as I force my kids to spend more time on Facebook or force myself to eat that extra bit of chocolate.  Ah, Christa....

Don't worry, Christa, we know what Deb's like. You did well succumbing only to 2 books.

Before I post this FIFO, I thought that I would mention it here first. I have the audiio CD unabridged version of The Black Tower by Louis Bayard. As it was highly recommended to me by Deb and others, I got it, listened to it and Simon Vance does do a terrific reading of it, I have to agree.

The Black Tower :: Bayard, Louis

If interested, please PM me. Thanks very much!

I just added 3 Alison Weir non fiction bio's (Eleanor, Elizabeth 1 and Children of Henry VIII) to my multiple WL post.  It's toward the bottom of page 3 in the December Wishlist Multiples thread in the Book Bazaar.

See, Kelly -- you should have heeded my advice. But now you're stuck. Resistance is futile. (Simon's audio version of The Black Tower is absolutely worthwhile!)

I just finished Edward Rutherford's The Rebels of Ireland--loved it and its pre-quel, The Princes of Ireland--and would love to send both to a desirous home---but both are unpostable. Perfectly readable, just came to me with some beverage stains, and Princes is a hardback whose spine is beyond the help of a chiropractor......

I'm offering a hardcover (with no dust jacket) of "Helen of Troy" by Margaret George.  It has been chewed a bit on the top of both the front and back covers, either by a bad dog, a baby, or someone with issues.

This is a freebie.  Would fit perfectly into the Pre 500 B.C. category, or the Great Relationships category...or if you want to deflower with Ms. George...Just send me a PM.

I have a couple...

Nemesis by Philip Roth, http://www.paperbackswap.com/Nemesis-Philip-Roth/book/0547318359/

It's an excellent read! Set during WWII, a polio epidemic hits a small Jewish community in Newark.

I have an ARC of "The Outer Banks House" by Diann Ducharme - http://www.paperbackswap.com/Outer-Banks-House-Diann-Ducharme/book/0307462234/

This one is set in the South and explores racism, but it didn't always ring true for me. This is a first novel and she went a bit overboard with some of her characters. This one is free with an order from my shelf.

I have an extra copy (brand new) of Civil Blood by Meredith Stephure. This book is not in PBS' database. It's a trade size paperback.

I don't feel like creating a new record for it. If you'd like it, please send me a PM. If I don't hear from anyone by the end of next week, I'll donate it to the friends sale.

Taken. Thanks for looking.

Is anyone interested in Child of the Northern Spring, by Persia Woolley?  It's an ex-library book, great shape, hardcover with mylar-covered jacket.  Just let me know, and I'll post it to your WL.

The ISBN is 0-671-62200-5.
