This book is OK (just)

The female characters are as visible as the air (they are hardly mentioned and always as an after thought. they are week and flat.) The main character (surprise surprise!) is a 5-6 year old boy who has the understanding of an adult. Even though there are adventures they are brief and not well devaloped. Most of the book is about political and birocratic 'wars' on the 2 planets. (Not my thing). And the first half of the book I complately missed that the the weird parlament procedings are actually 2 parlamental procedings on 2 deferent worlds. Over all it is OK read for adult but it will leave you wanting. For a child the book is fine as the book is a little simple and Tod the 5-6 year old character has some adventures, even if they are short and not well devaloped.
