I am trying to print the address page for a book order I received and am getting read for the mail and I always use Delivery Confirmation. But, this time I got this message when I tried to order it and print, "We are sorry but Delivery Confirmation is currently not available for this address".
I have never seen this before and it made me wary. Does anyone know what that means? Has it happened to you before? |

Yes, provided that the package is at least 3/4 of an inch thick ("at its thickest point"), according to USPS Delivery Confirmation Regulations, and is being sent to a USPS-validated address. I checked the help docs and that's what it said about DC's. I'd go to the USPS site or check online to see if that address is good. Then I'd go to The Team and see what they say. |

If its small and being sent First Class instead of Media Mail that might explain why. |

Sometimes this is just a glitch and it'll work after a while. Is it a PO box? I don't think DC works for a PO box but I'm not sure. |

Thanks for the responses everyone. I wrote PBS also and this was the response:
Dear S, I tried again later and it worked fine! So I guess that's that. Last Edited on: 5/3/09 8:43 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
