I didn't finish this book, I found some of the content offensive and was disappointed because I have enjoyed a lot of this authors books. This one had language and ideas that aren't right and I don't do in my book enjoyment.

Wonderful book spanning generations. Parts of the story line got confused by the author though and she mixed up the characters in a few places (mainly the twins Lucy and Lauren) but overall a wonderful book. Starts out in the 60s and goes to mid 90s. Penelope Stokes is a great writer and I have enjoyed all her books i've read to date.
