Yet another great book in the Sisters of the Moon series. In this installment we get to know Menolly even better and delve deeper into the battle against Shadow Wing. With the discovery of a diary in the Wayfarer bar we are thrown into another battle against evil and the discovery of another spirit seal. Yasmine Galenorn yet again shows what a wonderful writer she is and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

The stories about the Sisters just get better and better. This is Menoly's story and you learn more about her thoughts about being a vampire and undead and learning to trust others. Good read...

Yasmine likes to have lots of plots going in her stories, which are told from the point of view of one of 3 sisters. This story is from the vampire's point of view and wasn't really all that interesting because of the lalligagging. That's right things can only happen during the short summer evenings when Menolly's awake. One of the story lines, about weaning the gargoyle was totally dropped, so who knows if she's eating meat like she's supposed to.

I liked this installment in series...I like Menolly's story anyway. Like the other different creatures that happen in this series...how the family has grown..I'm Always hoping that something or maybe a spell can come about where Menolly can enjoy some "sunlight".
Greatly recommend this series to all who like this genre..one of the best authors indeed, she is top notch with ones like Hamilton, Moning, Wilks, Lui to name a few. Hope this series continues well on for a while.
