Starting in Israel with a possession thru attempting to take over the world the demonologist is up to his neck with problems. Enjoyed reading this.
Laimo never lets me down. I enjoyed this book as I have enjoyed all his novels. It was graphic and gory and it gave me some insight on demons. Great story. The ending could have been a bit better.
Good read. Lots of demons and questions.
Transforms the commonplace into chaotic nightmare.
From the acclaimed Bram Stoker Award finalist comes a new novel of terror, asa man fights to keep his humanity while possessed by a demon in a nightmarishplot to control the forces of hell
Very dark, story of a man possessed by demons and the horrors that he faces. It's a battle between evil forces for the fate of the world. Who will win, and what will happen to the innocent's caught in the middle?
What a creepy book! This was an exciting and quite grotesque book! Not to mention a book that I should not have started reading so late at night! It genuinely gave me the creeps (yucky, yucky beetles...) Still, it was an interesting premise that could have been a bit more researched, but was still thrilling nonetheless. The ending was a bit of a disappointment, but, really, I am not sure that there were too many other options for a conclusion. I wonder if a sequel or something was planned? I would definitely read another book by this author!
After reading Atmosphere by Laimo, I was very disappointed in this one. This just isn't as good. Its not even close. It has some interesting scenes of satanic worship in it, but its slow and full of stereotypes. The word demonologist is used incorrectly in the story too by the way lol.
Is Bev Mathers going crazy? He's been hearing chilling voices in his head, seeing nightmarish visions that just can't be true. And it keeps getting worse and worse. No, unfortunately for Bev, he's completely sane. What's taking control of him is far more terrifying than insanity. And it has an unimaginable purpose....
