I had a request for 2 books....  I thought from the same person.... I denied due to the RC however 1 of the books still shows as being requested...  how can I find out if the request is from the same person?  I thought that when I denied that both books would have been removed from the request page.

If they showed up on your page together with just one option to accept the request, that means they are both from the same person.  But, I do believe that you need to deny each book individually.

They do have the option to put the RC on for just one book.

Try looking in your club communications and see if you see two recent requests for the same book. If the books needed to be denied separately, then the book on your request page should still have an RC so I think it is safe to assume that the request you have is not the same one.

You could always accept, them PM the requester to confirm that there was no system glitch and they did in fact request that book without RCs.

Maybe there is another person who jumped right on after you canceled? They have an hour to deny their own request before you can do anything with it.

You can look in your transaction archive, it shows books in and out. It's a little confusing but it's really helpful too! One time I had a book deal and the person canceled my book and I found another person was going to send just one book.

Neither book shows up on the transaction archive page.  They both show in the club communication as being requested, but doesn't say by who.  My curiosity got to me since another member was planning to order one of the 2 books as part of a deal, so I accepted it thinking if it was the same person who had the RC, I would cancel.  Luckily, it was the other member who was ordering it as part of the deal.  So all is well!

Thanks for the help.

Mary - just wanted to point out that any transactions that were denied for RCs would not show up in your TA, only completed or cancelled transactions go there and a denied RC is not considered either.
