I was rather disappointed by this book. It was my first Singh book and I'm afraid it will be my last. In order to get around the polygamy allowed in Arab countries, Singh created a fictious Arab kindom which allows only one wife. The characters, especially, the male hero, Tariq, are cardboard cutouts without a lot of character development and the story is boring and predictable. Although there's a lot of sex in the book, I didn't find any of it especially hot. Overall, it was a disappointing read and I can't figure out what all the hullabaloo about Singh is about. She's very mediocre, IMO.
