I love before and after pictures and this book is full of them. Even if you are not selling your home, you will see what a difference decluttering and rearranging can make.More practical than your glossy, coffee table picture book I go back to this book a lot

So many of these TV-series turned trade-paperback books are all about the show, or the making of the show, or the stars of the show. Not this one. This one actually has something useful to say--what to do to your home to make it sellable. The overall strategy is discussed first, and then the bulk of the book is before and after pictures from the show, with explanations of what was done and why. Finally, the book wraps up with specific how-to information for common projects like installing vinyl tile.
