I don't remember the title or author or even the plot.  I'm pretty sure it was written sometime between 1975 and 1980.  The heroine's name is Larissa (can't reclal the heroes) and I'm almost positive it was set in France pre-Revolution.

I read it years ago and would love to give it another go.

Thanks for any help or info anyone might offer.

Larissa by Lynn Lowery?

Subject: Thanks for the suggestion Amber but I don't think that's the book.

The book I remember was set entirely in France (probably before the revolution).

For some reason I think the cover image showed the woman in a blue gown with 3/4 length sleeve and white ruffles at the end (a style I'd call Georgian if the story were est in England).

I think it also had a plot that included the heroine's hidden heritage (I think she was born to the nobility but didn't know it).
