My husband and I both thought this was a great story...
action packed, suspenceful great CD!
Suspense novel about a couple who go to Columbia to adopt a baby. Kept me immersed while driving to and from work, and kept me driving around the block a few times to hear the next revelation. very good!
fast-paced, scary and suspenseful!
Great story from start to finish. If you like a good thriller and suspense it is worth picking up a copy of this book.
If this were a movie, it would be on the Lifetime network starring Sally Struthers. Yes, it's that bad.

Excellent suspenseful story. I liked it better than Derailed.
A couple goes to war-torn Colombia to adopt a baby girl and everything is perfect. One afternoon they briefly leave their daughter alone with the nanny and when they return, something is different about the baby. All of a sudden, the couple's world becomes a dangerous nightmare. Very, very good book. Great suspense. Hard to put down.
this is a great book. if you like Derailed than you will also enjoy this one!
Detour was not as good as Derailed. The story was simply too unbelieveable. Not one of my personal favorites, to say the least.
My 1st by this author - I really enjoyed it & will be looking for more by Siegel.
I enjoyed reading this book
The Breidbarts' longtime wish for a child is about to come true when they travel to Colombia to adopt a baby girl. The trip quickly goes bad when their new daughter is replaced by another baby, and the Breidbarts are blackmailed into delivering drugs in exchange for their daughter. They're surprised at their quick transformation into parents willing to lay down their lives for their child, and they wonder if that's exactly what will be required of them. Holter Graham's delivery draws listeners into the fears and anxiety of the characters as they wonder if they'll survive their ordeal.
