This book was absolutely hilarious!! I picked it up seeking a funny, light, enjoyable read after some of the heavier themed books I've finished, and I sure found it!

This book zips right along, formatted as diary entries of Amy Thomas, whose friends it seems are all getting married, and going crazy. Amy vows never to become a crazy, delusional bride-to-be. But when Stephen her boyfriend proposes to her, things quickly start spinning out of control. Before she knows what's happening, she's second guessing her antique engagement ring, the way Stephen proposed, her wedding dress, and fighting in public about her bridal flowers!

As soon I finished this book I IMMEDIATELY picked up the next one, Diary of a Mad Mother-To-Be, and am half-way through already. I highly recommend this book, it's fast-paced and VERY funny! A great book for future brides, married women, or anyone even remotely interested in weddings!

What a fantastic story! And it couldn't have come at a better time because I needed the laughter this book brought out. My only regret is that the story ended and that I waited so long to get around to picking this up off the shelf. I will be looking for more by this author and hopefully Amy and Stephen will be back in future books. The diary format made it a very quick read.

This was a quick & fun read. Anyone who has ever been in a wedding or gotten married can definitely have a good laugh relating to the main character's journey through wedding planning. Definitely reccommend this book.

It took me a few pages to get use to the writting style of this book but once I was use to it what fun it was to read. I really enjoyed this book. For fourteen years I ran a successful bridal shop and I often thought that once the ring went on the girls hand she and her mother suddenly lost their minds. This book proved that theory correct. It was so fun to read. I laughed out loud several times (and not one of those polite girl laughs) a real belly laugh the kind a laugh that makes milk squirt out your nose. That is if you drinking a glass of milk at the time. The scene where she tries to buy a child's tiara was so funny. If you are looking for a funny, quick read then I recommend this book. You will laugh too.

I read the Reviews for this book on here before reading it I thought when I read the reviews this would be a funny book but unfortunately this book was not funny at all, All the Author did was complain about every little thing, Which made it hard for me to read on. I am sorry but this is not one book I would say is hilarious I thought it was rather boring and dragged on. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone. And it doesn't even deserve a half of a star.
