Dime Store Magic - Women of the Otherworld, Bk 3
Author: Kelley Armstrong
Forget nude-dancing Wiccans, forget Samantha from 'Bewitched', forget the cackling green hag in the Wizard of Oz. Real witches are nothing, NOTHING like this. For years, real witches have hidden their powers, afraid of being persecuted. They have integrated so well into the community, you could have a witch living right next door, and never know...  more »

I have to be honest...this was a book I kept putting down in favor of another, and eventually, I did pick back up and finish. My opinion of the book improved towards the end. Oh well, I did read the whole thing, but I won't be reading another by this author.

This book is part of a series. While I'm sure that you'll be able to enjoy the book by itself, I really recommend you read the first two books (Bitten and Stolen) first.

While I loved the first two books in this series, I didn't like this one. This is about Paige, the witch we meet in the second book. Paige's mother has died and now Paige wants to take her place as leader of one of the world's most powerful oganizations-The American Coven of Witches. People who like stories about witches love this one.

Well....I wasn't so sure about this at the start but it picked up the pace and was a good read....so stick with it!

I have read Armstrong's first two books about werewolves, but I am not a big fan of witch fiction, so I began this book with a little apprehension. Let me assure you, Armstrong rose to the occasion with a wonderful book. Her characters are very likeable and the story line flows well and moves quickly. I would highly recommend this book, and the author, to anyone who enjoys reading supernatural fiction. She truly does justice to the genre. I can't wait to get started on the next Paige Winterbourne installment: Industrial Magic.

I love this entire series, I've read it a number of times and highly recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy/supernatural but is tired of "young adult" novels. (not that I have a problem with them, I read most of those too :) it's just nice to have something a little more grown up every now and then)

This was the first time Page had to deal with how she felt about herself. Not as just a witch but as a wife also. As always Kelly Armstrong gets you feeling that you know the people so well and can cry with them and get mad with them. I read the book in just 2 days. Loved Loved it.

Hard to explain but - it took me awhile to read this. It didn't grab me and hold me like some books - but I kept picking it back up to find out what happened next. Will read the next one in the series...

I really wanted to like this series. It seems like something I would like. I struggled through the first two. I'm not even sure why they are so hard for me to get into but I'm done. I can't struggle through another.

Dime Store Magic is the third book of the Women of the Otherworld series. This book follows the story of Paige Winterbourne, a witch that we meet in the second book, Stolen. Although I missed Elena & Clay in this one, I still enjoyed it immensely! Would highly recommend.

It took me a little while to get into this book because I found myself really missing Elena's voice. But once I truly gave Paige a chance, I found that I did actually like her (she had been a bit annoying in Stolen) and enjoyed reading her story.
