While I enjoyed the book, it was not as good as other McCaffrey books. Part of the problems was that I didn't realize that it was a sequel. However, even though I was sometimes confused as to who the characters were, I did care about them. Also some unusual alien lifeforms, good to see some originality
A sequel to "Dinosaur Planet", 40 years later (2 main characters have been in suspended animation all that time)
Maybe no McCaffrey's best, but it holds true to her can't put it down style.
love the author. didnt like the series
After Lunzie awakens from cryogenic stasis. The rescue of her and the remainder of her team...and the children of the original mutineers. Lunzie meets Sassinak.
Sequel to Dinosaur Planet, this is still a great read. These characters are real "survivors"!
This book (actually these books - the series) were a bit darker than Ms. McCaffrey usually writes. I've read and enjoyed so many of her books I was disappointed.
Kai and Varian awoke from their forty years of coldsleep only to discover that mutineers had taken over Ireta. But they were determined to save their planet and its unusual dinosaurs. All they had to do was solve the planet's myriad mysteries and gain the trust of the most dangerous beings in their Universe....
And Lunzie meets Sassinak!
