I've mostly retired from my reasonably successful direct sales business. I was in a management position with a well-known kitchen tools company; these two below were wonderful resources and are not postable. I have a 3 for 1 deal for a manager/director or wanna-be. :
Totally Terrific Team Themes : Dynamic, fun, educational themes for team meetings. Includes reproducible invitations for all 18 themes! by Christie Northrup, The Lemon Aid Lady. (These forms are all intact and brand new.) I bought this for $19.95 and made use of the ideas in it but it is basically brand-new. A Pocketful of Recruiting Ideas: For Direct Sales Professionals by Sue Rusch. This is a 25 page booklet that is absolutely packed with why and (more importantly) how-to-do-its for securing new team members.
I just posted a book called: Yes, You Can Have It All! by Ilene Meckley, and that's the one I was thinking about when I started this post. But actually I have a few titles on my shelf that are related to business success and direct sales so there are several you could request and get the above two free.
So...anyone who orders a sales-related type book from my shelf, can have the above two free with it by just asking. I just want them to be used by someone who needs them. The "Team Themes" one would actually be fine for a Christmas gift, it's that pristine and it would make an appreciated gift for a direct sales pro.
