I just finished this book, and have to say I was really disappointed. I have really enjoyed his soap series, and the candlemaking series. In this case, however,  even though the main character is a 50tish empty nester (like me) I could not relate to her. She was disagreeable and rude to everybody, and I was uncomfortable with the way she spoke to her husband.  Someone said the author does better with male characters and I think I have to agree. I don't think I'll be interested in pursuing this series...

Anyone else have a different take on this?

I haven't liked ANY of his series I've tried! Well, I think I have actually only completed one book--the others I started and couldn't get through more than 50 pages. I just wish he would quit trying to fool everybody into buying his books by using all those pseudonyms!
