I picked up a book call "The Warrior" by Sharon Sala, and I love it. I can't put the book down. I looked Sharon Sala up and it looks like shes written over 70 books. I've never heard of her before. Has anyone read anything interested by her?

Thanks for the tip on Sharon Sala.  I got Out of the Dark yesterday and like you, I can hardly put the book down.

The subject is a young girl whose mother took her away from her father and joined a cult in the 70's. Troubling topic but Sala 's writing is fast-paced and, I think, very intense.

I have not read Sharon Sala, but I will give her a try.  That's one of the things I love most about PBS.  I have found so many new authors!!  I never used to try new authors at $20 a book, but now I try new ones all the time. (Nancy Thayer, Elin Hilderbrand and Pamela Morsi are my new favorites)

So...............thanks for the suggestion! :)

Sharon Sala also writes under the name of Dinah McCall, maybe you've read hers.  I read Storm Warning [McCall] and loved it.. Have since gotten others by both McCall and Sala. She is an excellent writer.

Check my shelf. I always do 3 for 1 or 5 for 2 on paperbacks. 2 for 1 on hardbacks. Smoke-free home with 2 [very smart] cats.

I had tried one of her books on the recommendation of my ubs owner, and just hated it.

Then I read about WHIPPORWILL.... and ordered it here, and I truly enjoyed this book.  I have read that some people think that Whipporwill is a funny book.  I think it is a book about redemption, and I loved it.  I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a taste of truth with their fiction.

Whipporwhill has a sequel called The Amen Trail.  You might like that too.

I just bought 3 of her books. Storm Front series--"Blown Away", "Torn Apart" and "Swept Aside".

I'm on the first book and so far it's a definate page turner for me. It's set in south Louisiana.
