I hate having to come back to the discussion forums and wade through to find my post just to find out if someone has answered it. Does anyone else think it would be great if  PBS would notify you that people had responded to your posts like facebook does. THis could be done inhouse (i.e. on your profile) or emailed to you at an exteranal address.

Maybe this already exists and I have just missed it on here.

Thoughts?

Yes, the option does already exist David. There is the Watch This Topic link in the upper right just about your post  and also just above the Post a Reply box on the right. Click that link and you will get emails every time there is a Reply to that thread. When you first enter the Discussion Forums there will also be a button to go to the list of your Watched Topics. (I think there may be one on your Profile or Main page too since the Profile upgrades).

Try the Watch this Topic feature David.  It's better than getting bunches of e-mail!

From your Watched Topics page, you can see date of original post, time and date of most recent post, and if you click on the little blue page on the right hand side it automatically takes you the the last page of multi-page threads.

And if you don't want to get the e-mails, you can opt out of them. I do that and just go to my page of Watched Topics  to check if there have been replies.
