  Noiselessly moving through

The water, swift and purposed,

Unhurriedly rushing,

Beneath bits of left-over necessity clinging

To the breakfast dishes.

Decapitated arms

cut off and cutting

the greasiness of life and sustenance

with apple-green green apple

syrup, deceptively real-smelling.

Absently trickling narrow emerald

Glaciers into and over one another

Criss-crossing across

And sinking beneath the

Frothy flotsum of used-up suds.
