ISBN 0736401326 - Disney and board books are among my favorite things, so any book that is both gets moved up the to-be-read list quickly. That this one has a message is a great plus!

In very few words, in rhyming text, the book tells about how comforted Tarzan is by the presence of his mother and the love they share.

Author Victoria Saxon did a great job of expressing a simple and subtle message about the love between a mother and child. The amount of text is limited and the words are simple, making the book a really good introduction to reading. The illustrations, by Kim Raymond (penciled by) and Philippe Harchy (painted by) are typical, sleek, vivid Disney, but slightly less cluttered than in books for older children. A great bedtime story for little ones!
