A cool book, with remedies made from stuff you have around your house already, including your own brain, which can be used for most of the "ailments" listed.
As a parent, I like this book because I hate using store-bought medicines and chemicals to treat my children and would much prefer "natural" methods like vinegar for bee stings and rubbing alcohol for cooling a fever.
The only problem I have with this book is that it's big and for some of the ailments it lists many solutions, which can be confusing when you just need one. All-in-all, though, a pretty neat reference, but one that won't replace the real, live family doctor.

This is an excellent book to have at home with small children.

Not every little problem your child has requires a trip to the doctor. This is a wonderful book for Dr. Mom and covers quite a lot of children's maladies. I highly recommend it.
