This book is chuck full of great information for your cats and dogs. Everything imaginable from flea problems, ear mites, ticks, skin disorders and more intensive problems. Gives great insight on what they are, how to deal with them, and home remedies to try. Setup in "encyclopedia" style and alphabetized.

Oversimplified look at the basic dog and cat alignments. Each chapter of the book has a general overview of the "problem" then it breaks it down with a paragraph describing first dog then cat issues that may arise. This book could have easily been condensed into a booklet and contain more information then it does

I think this book is a great reference book every pet owner should have. I liked the way it was organized by problem or ailment. Then it gave several solutions what you can do to resolve the problem. Each was easy to understand and follow. It also tells when to call the vet on issues that could be more serious.
Many things you can use that might have been a trip to the vet but you can take care of it yourself, such as constipation, and sinus problems to name just a few. It covers physcial and emotional problems.
