A useful book for those who have never trained a dog before. Besides giving good directions, it also answers many questions like 'What if my dog won't stop barking?', and 'What's the difference between WAIT and STAY?'.

A great book that takes you step by step on how to teach your dog to sit, stay, down, come and heel like the well-mannered dog you want him to be. A very user-friendly guide to making sure your dog remains your best friend.

This is an excellent book. In the first few pages, Sarah Hodgson gives a very simple and understandable explanation of dog behavior (they are not people...) and allows a reader to understand that dog owners can train their dogs to behave properly. I would recommend this book to 1) anyone who is thinking of getting a dog and 2) to dog owners who would like to have well-behaved companions.

Learned quite a few things.
