This is a great book if you don't really know dogs. I found that it didn't meet my needs for training. There is a lot of time spent on dog behavior, of which I'm already aware of. This book will be great for a first time owner.

Most of the general info is outdated. The "dogspeak" info is simple common sense. Not impressed at all.
