OMG!  Today Dollar General marked all the pink label books down 90% off.  I got another 15 books!  This is a system wide sale,

so it's worth a trip if you have DG in your area.  The big hardcover books were 30 cents to 50 cents.  And  I even found 2 audio

books - CDs for a dime!

This is a hidden gem - all the books, hardcover and paperback, are on sale at my store for 75% off.  Hope your store has the same

sale.  The $3.00 books come out to 75 cents.

My town has two Dollar General stores but neither one of them has a very good selection of books. Thanks for the word. I'll have to stop by and see what they have now.

Charles - my Dollar General had top notch authors:  i.e., by Joe Hill, WEB Griffith, Clive Cussler, Sandra Brown, Christine Feehan, J. R. Ward, Catherine Colter, etc.

I went back and got 16 books for $18.00.  Pretty good, huh?  That's about all they had that I wanted.  Some of the authors were:

Karen Kingsbury, Laurell K. Hamilton, Daniel Silva, J. D. Robb, Glenn Beck, Dan Simmons, and Anita Shreve.

not bad. and they are new too. I am so oriented to shopping and buying used books the idea of new books is sort of strange to me.
