Yes!  I loved Dollhouse and am super stoked that there will be more of the story :D :D :D  At the beginning of the season I was worried it would get too disturbing and upsetting with all the human trafficking stuff, and some episodes pushed me to the edge of what I could stand to see and think about.  Of course, then it would turn right around and veer away into some exciting character reveal or something...  It really kept me on the edge of my seat.

I heard there is one episode that won't air on TV and a pilot episode...  Hopefully those will come out on the DVD and tide us over until the story continues!

Oh, and once it picked up (after episode 6) I LOVED Dollhouse.

I'm a little curious to see what they do with Amy Acker's character because her pilot was picked up, but it looks like Joss Whedon wants her to try to get a release so she can do a few more Dollhouse eps.  It'd be weird if they had to get rid of Doctor Saunders.

I'm a fan, too! I'm very thankful that it got renewed. At least it's lasted longer than Firefly, right!

I'm a huge Joss fan.  Love how he brings up big issues without talking about them.

Oh yay!  I've been working like crazy and hadn't heard that.  I really liked the show.  I was iffy after the first few episodes, but then it really got good

Was really on a fence about the show until "Man on the street"....OMG!!! At that point you could really see The MASTER'S, (that being Joss), hand in things from that point on.  Was determined to watch the full season before making a decision about the show one way or the other. VERY glad I did.

Was sorry to see Millie go, but not surprised.  Wondering if Victor will be the new dr. now that Alpha worked his face over. Amazed at how Whiskey took the news that she was, as she put it a "Broken Doll".  Heard some time back that Amy was in a pilot for ABC and was wondering what Joss was going to do about that. Had not heard he was trying to keep her for a few eps.  YAY!! Which just has me really wondering what will happen to Victor now.  How many new dolls will we get next season??  Wondering if there will be other Joss-its added. Hehehehehehe!!!!

Very glad the show was picked up, however suspect that Fox is not totally behind it as they only renewed for 13 eps. Really wondering about that. Also hoping they get a better time slot then 9pm on Friday night. Tricky spot for any show to succeed in.

If you haven't already been there you may want to check out the offical fan board at: http://dollhousewiki.fox.com/

What's the story with the unaired episode?  What was it, and why didn't they show it?

I like the show, but would have preferred they keep the Terminator series instead :(

The unaired eps is actually the original pilot.  Fox would not let Joss have the pilot he wanted, said that there was far too much story arc given up front and if you missed that eps you really would be lost in the show. They were concerned it would cause too many people who missed the first eps not to watch future eps. Or some silliness like that. What they ended up doing with taking bits of the pilot and working it into the first 4 or 5 eps. If you want to read the original pilot it is on line somewhere...I found it a while back, just can't remember where.  Suspect i googled 'dollhouse original pilot'.

Also there is an epolog as well...never aired...doubt it was suppose to air. My daughter and I suspect it was a 'just in case' Fox killed the show...can you say "firefly"...I think, don't know for sure, it tied up all the loose ends of the season.  Really won't know until July 28th when the DVD releases.  I can't wait!

Terri, the unaired ep commonly referred to is episode 13, which is not the pilot.

The reason why there is an unaired episode is because Fox the network ordered 13 episodes, which counted the pilot as episode 1 and the last episode aired as episode 13.  They didn't air the pilot.

The episode that wasn't aired was allowed by Fox the studio, probably for the DVD release (to entice more people to buy it).  It doesn't have any of the main cast (but Felicia Day, who was a potential slayer on Buffy season 7 and the love interest in Doctor Horrible is in the episode).  It's supposed to be post-apocalyptic.  I don't think it's supposed to have much to do with the rest of the season, which was wrapped up in episode 12 (the last one that aired).

According to this link, the thirteenth episode was filmed to show Fox "how "Dollhouse" can achieve a high-quality production with a lesser budget."

ok Britney...what is the 14th eps...on the dvd called "epolog' doing there?  Please check the dvd listing to see all 14 entries.  Not sure which site I was it at...one of the online distributers that is taking pre-sales for the DVD and lists an episode as the original pilot and one called Epolog (sp?).  The follow up eps to this season. (Could that be the lower budget filming you are referring to?)  Now how did they do that? Come up with 14 eps out of only 12 aired.

I don't  usually don't take any information to heart that does not come from either the official Dollhouse site or whedonesque.com, sites that joss actually posts too.  Random blogger are too often proved wrong for my tastes. No oversite on them to check facts or dig any deeper. Just be the first to get it on the web and wrack up hits on their website.

However on July 28th we will all find out what is on the DVD, won't we?

Nope -- it's called "Epitaph One".  Here's an article from E!Online that explains it and gives spoilers for the episodes. http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b117929_will_fox_air_dollhouses_final_episode.html

I get all my info from whedonesque. :)

Britney...was going to post a correction myself. found the correct name of the last eps this morning.
if you get your info from Whedenesque then you read Tim Minivers comments and know this had very little to do with low budget and more to do with needing 13th eps for DVD.

Most bloggers deal in supposition and their own opinions, I never trust them.
