My husband and I are looking into building a dome home, and we have questions. Does anyone here have a dome home? Monolithic, geodesic, hexadome - whatever? What do you think about it? May I ask you questions? Thanks!

I don't own one, but I'm an interior design student and have studied them... maybe I can be some help?

Thank you! We have pretty much decided upon monolithic. Now we are trying to design the insides, determine how much room we need/want, before we have them create the dome.

We want a master suite, 3 bedrooms in addition, an office, a crafts/sewing/hobby room, a gaming room, plus the regular kitchen, living, dining, bath rooms. My husband also wants a garager and we need plenty of storage.  Any ideas?!

We decided to go second hand and are buying a foreclosed home. I'm super jealous though! I think these are awesome!

We have been waiting years and years, dreaming and still more dreaming. We have finally decided to make the dreams come true, and are making Real decisions, although we still need land :-/ :-)

I hope your foreclosed house works out well for you. Maybe you could put in some features of environmental conciousness like a dome home. At least compost and recycle!
