Kit and Meg Sullivan are eleven-year old twins living in a new house in a new town. But even though they're twins, no two girls could be more opposite. Kit just wants to fit in at school and make some friends. Meg, on the other hand, want to make trouble for their obnoxious neighbor "Bratty Bart."
It all begins when Bart dares Meg to touch a dead jellyfish. He Double-dares her. Meg scoops the jellyfish up and throws it at Bart. And from that second on, it's war.
While Meg and Bart are dreaming up the worse and most horrible dares for each other-including an outrageous chocolate fudge dare- Kit comes up with an original and funny plan of her own.

Remember the days as kids? "I had to do it! I was double dog dared to!" This is the entertaining story of some of those kids, little kid "boys versus girls", and how a dare war gets a little out of hand.
