This is different. A hard-science look at Dracula. Renner is just as disgusting as in the original Stoker tale, and other characters also hold their roles. But the gist of the tale, as people ride the Hell-bound train... No, that would be telling. You have to read it for yourself

From back cover: THE TIME IS THE FUTURE, THE TERROR IS TIMELESS
Two men, one of the future, one of the past, embark on an astonishing and horrific journey. They chase the most elusive and deadly creatures ever to stalk the earth. Theirs is a trek of time, life, death, and beyond. Before it is over, they will brave the darkest evil of a dying world to destroy their prey.

No one but master author Brian W. Aldiss, winner of the Nebula and Hugo awards, could have created such an edge-of-your-seat odyssey into the fist of and the heart of a horror legend.

Bram Stoker, vampires, time travel -- they're all here! A different take on the vampire genre with a science fiction twist.
