There is more humanity mixed in with the horror in this book. My nightmares weren't as scary.

The second volume in a series. "The last gunslinger is drawn through a door that brings him to contemporary america." Classic King.

Another one of Stephen King, best books. It makes you want to read more and more!
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King is my second favorite fantasy series of all time, second only to Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings.
