When Marcus O'neill came into Laurel's Long Island Bookshop, she had no idea of the new road he would open for her. Clifton York left his wife and daughter when Laurel was a small child. She hs fed her anger by reading his books and following his career, keeping old pain alive. Now a fried of her father's tells her he has an urgent need for his eldest daughter and there might not be much time left for him. Very good book.
