This book is the "Alice in Wonderland" of H.P. Lovecraft's eldritch adventures - completely bizarre!

a collection of Lovecraft's sci-fi writings. In Kadath we meet so many of his canon of creatures: moon-beasts, nightgaunts, ghouls, gugs and the yellow priest of Leng. a staple in the body of his work.

I love Lovecraft's writing style. I always feel pulled into the rich worlds he creates with his prose, and his Dream Cycle is among his best work in that regard.

Lovecraft shifted the focus of supernatural dread from man and his little world and his gods, to the stars and the black, unplumbed gulfs of space, a literary Copernicus. The finest weird fantasy ever written.

"He reeled in the clutch of supreme horror. He was no longer a being distinguished from other beings. He had reached the nameless summit of agony and dread..." -from the book
