There wasn't enough stars to give this so i had to stop at 5. I have read everyone of the Irish Country series, i hope they keep coming, i never get tired of them. Author Patrick Taylor just has a way with words. I never thought i'd be so drawn to a series that was set in another country as i am with this series. Each book has wonderful history, amazing story line and just enough suspense to keep you waiting for the next one. If you haven't tried this series yet..do. Start at number one if you can because you won't want to miss any of them once you get started. If you can't you will be able to catch on quickly.

This book is a sterling addition to the "Irish Country" series of books. While I have enjoyed them all very much, this recounting of Dr. O'Reilly's medical training in 1930's Ireland will long stand as one of my favorites. Involving, fascinating and heartfelt storyline kept me wishing that the book would never end.
