just an okay book, I guess, but I did find some points I don't think were correct, like the P-51, as far as i know, did not fire it's guns through its propeller, even though the author states that it did. At least this guy's story

I really enjoyed this book. The author's adventures paralleled some of my own dad's, only by the time Richard Curtis was flying, my dad had already been shot down, been a POW, escaped and was on his way across Italy to Switzerland. This is a fun read for WWII history buffs, especially if you are interested in the pilot training program.
