This is the third Culinary Mystery featuring "The Gourmet Detective."
The Gourmet Detective is an engaging character, and this series shows promise. however, in this book, I found that there was too much emphasis put on describing not only the meals eaten, but also additional dishes on each menu. As a result, the story was inadequately developed.

An interesting faunt through France. The mystery was good, too. Had never heard of this author before. . .he is a good one for people who like 'food mysteries'.
