Cheraskin, and Ruth Sleeper This 2nd edition of [the book] not only continues the pattern established in the 1st ed., it also reflects the experience of educators with the 1st ed. and incorporates many of the constructive suggestions offered by them. Foremost among these suggestions was the desirability of including more "living anatomy." The illustrations in the 1st ed., ... more »especially those depicting important anatomic structures by means of photographs of live models, had won praise and admiration from users and reviewers. This living-anatomy feature, which proved so effective as a teaching tool, has been expanded where possible, and is represented by many of the 50 new illustrations specially prepared for this ed. The material on anatomy has been further expanded by the inclusion of comprehensive reference tables of muscles, arteries, veins, nerves, and joints. Also, a glossary of important terms in anatomy and physiology is provided.

Medium green covers with a red line drawing of the circulatory system and white lettering. Slight mustiness from storage. It's being aired.« less
