I got this game for the Wii today and I have to say WOW!!!! this is everything that the Wii Fit SHOULD be. I got a great workout in a short (25 min) time and so far it seems like it will not get boring fast like the Wii Fit did. It comes with resistance bands and a leg strap for the nunchuck. It is balence board compatable. The excersises are fun and dont last too long, but arn't super short either. I have lost 30 pounds since christmas doing the Wii Fit and My Fitness Coach, but have fallen off the last few weeks because I am bored with them. This should give me the kick in the seat I need to get over my plateau and drop the rest of the weight.

I want to get this!  I like the Wii Fit, but I've only used it for a couple of weeks, and I do find myself thinking I could get very bored very quickly.  There's just not much to it.

Seriously, it is amazing.   Sixty bucks is a bargain (closer to 50 at Costco).   It really is like having a gym (with a personal trainer) in your house.  The resistance band is wimpy - I got a better one at Target - but this is the best Wii purchase ever.

I agree about the resistance band.  I have tried to tie a knot in the bottom so there is a little more resistance, but it didn't work.  I going to have to go get another one too with more tension.  But the game is awesome!!

I'm enjoying the Yoga and strength exercises on the Wii Fit, but I did look at this one on line the other day and wondered if it might be a good Part 2. One complaint I have with the Fit exercises is the down time between exercises. Is there a way to skip the verbiage and just move from exercise to exercise? Punching A three times to get to Downward Dog is wearing on me. A parallel question: is the EA program any better in this regard?

Yes the Active is much better in this regard. I have it set up to do a computer picked workout everytime I'm on.  The first time you do an excercise, it shows you a tutorial, but after that it is just one right after the other.

Is anyone still keeping up with EA Sports active? I have yet to finish the 30 Day Challenge and would love to have some buddies to start with. We can motivate each other to get through it. If you would like PM me,
