This book is all black and white illustrations, no photographs of the finished projects. I did a lot of origami with my girl scout troops over the years and found this one was most useful when I memorized how to make a particular form and then demonstrated it. Some of my 9-10 year old girls had some trouble deciphering the pictures, so better for a little older crowd, definitely not for the young ones. That said, some of the designs are really nice and older kids and adults enjoyed making them. A good resource book for teachers, scout leaders, etc.
