If you want to stop smoking, and you read this book with close attention, you can quit smoking. No willpower required, no scare tactics used, no weight gain, no feeling deprived, no gimmicks or substitutes. You just quit smoking, easily, joyfully, finally. I smoked a pack a day for fifty years and tried to quit any number of times without success. Then I read this book and quit when I was done (the author insists that you do not quit till you've finished the book). That was only 6 months ago, but as I am grateful to be free of cigarettes at last and do not have the smallest real desire to smoke again, I expect this quit to be forever. Do yourself a favor: try this book. It really works!

I smoked more than 3 packs a day. I smoked for 30 years. I made decisions about my life - where I could go, what I could do - based on whether I could get away to smoke or not. My life revolved around cigarettes. You may know someone as addicted as me, but you do not know anyone moreso.
I listened to this book in my car, and when I finished it, I smoked my last cigarette. I have not had even one puff for 37 days, and I don't want to. I don't know if I'd go so far to say that first three days was "pleasurable", but it was certainly tolerable, and at no point was I at any risk of picking up a cigarette. Since then, it's been a breeze, and I can say with confidence that I will never smoke again.

I was terrified to try to quit smoking, thought I couldn't do it. This book gets into the psychology behind why we smoke, not just the physical addiction aspect. i could not have quit without reading this book. Best purchase of my life.
This book changed my life. After smoking for 15 years I got sick one day and thought to myself, this is it, I don't want to do this any more. I had been given this book as a gift so I decided what harm could it do to read it. I never picked up another cigarette and I am celebrating my 5-year non-smoking anniversary next Sunday!
