When you look through the book, you'll realize that it's really common sense stuff. You want the book for the tasty recipes. Lots of Mediterranean recipes. Some are easy but some are a bit too much. For example, the Dolmas (vegetarian stuffed grape leaves) are labeled incorrectly. Dolma is Greek and Greeks put meat, pine nuts, and nutmeg in their Dolmas. This recipe has allspice but no pine nuts. My family has been making a type of Dolma for years. You don't cook the rice mixture all the way through. You cook it for only 10 minutes. When you've wrapped the grape leaves TIGHTLY and cook it for the remaining 10-15 minutes, the grape leaves get plump and the rice is nice and firm. Dill is the key to any Mediterranean recipe.
