I used these readers to homeschool my 3 daughters and they are excellent. It is the way America learned to read 173 years ago. They are not only a great reader, my girls excelled and progressed with them faster than any other readers we had, but they are a peek into the our past history of the way people thought and lived.
The stories are wholesome and leave positive influence on young minds.
They are classic and timeless. The can be used for generations to come as they have already been and stood the test of time.
The illustrations are wondering. I like the moral lessons that are in each story that help develop good character. Something that there is little of in school reading material today. Great books!
