Help ... is there a reason why the "Description" field on the Edit Book Data page is now tiny? Anyone else seeing this?

It should have been fixed earlier today, it was on my browser. They told me that some versions of the browsers are having more trouble than others. What are you using?

I posted yesterday and it was little and it's still little today.  I just figured they'd done it on purpose.  Pat

LOL Pat - we want you to add descriptions not discourage ;)   I really have abandoned IE for this site - Firefox is the way to go since they test the site with Firefox and it probably always work  better than IE.

Pretty much, Robin has the right of it. PBS has specifically stated that they do not cater their changes and corrections of problems to anything but the latest browser versions, and if you don't set IE to auto update, even if you are running 8, you can still be behind. FF updates every time it is opened, so it is always running the latest version, and that is about all this site runs consistently on.

I do find a few bugs yet with FF, but not as many as IE. Example, my scroll (middle) button doesn't work in FF here, and that's very frustrating.

Also, if you are accessing the site from work, or aren't computer literate enough to download and install FF on your computer, you may be pretty much stuck with some problems if your company does not move up to IE8, and PBS will just leave you behind.

Personally, I'm stuck whichever way I go, I have some problems in IE8 that I won't put up with, and still have some issues with FF here.
