Has anyone read her Cold Case Squad books?

I have and enjoyed them more than her Britt Montero (sp) books.  I should say I enjoyed the first Britt books enough to keep reading them but I think they got a bit too wordy.  I liked the Cold Case Squard a bit more.  The last was a combination of the Squad and Britt.  It was almost as though two peoplen were writing the book.  The style seemed so different.

Thoughts.

Geri ~ I haven't tried any of the Cold Case Squad (but I bet I'd like them!).  I have read most of the Britt Montero books and I agree with you about being a bit too wordy.  I think I read them quite a few years ago.

Susie,

I think you'd like those Cold Case Squad books too.  If I remember the story line right the leader of the group K C Riley gets introduced a little bit in Garden of Evil a Britt Montero book.  Britt attracts the love of K C Riley's life.  He falls hard for Britt, they're engaged.  He's a cop and ends up dying in the line of duty when he's off duty!

The first of the series and so far there's four is Ice Maiden.  That's supposed to describe K C Riley.

The next books are Cold Case Squad, Shadows and the last is Love Kills.  That's the one that combines Britt Montero and K C Riley.  Because it goes between Britt and the Squad it gets wordy in parts.

An unexpected ending though.

How gruesome are these?  I know I considered them on and off at one point.
