the sea of your sex
sufficating you
every day seems
a death brand new
in the silence
i die too in my desert
next to you
karma wont help
no god in the sky
it wont all work out
and you know why

now for the lights
none see the stars
and now for the lies
none see the scars
things that shape us,
make us who we are
challenging these deaths
to take us well
this was our heaven
this was our hell

another kiss and tell, like a pill
desolves and fades. another day is
another way you set yourself to fail.
blocked it out rockin out, and
slept the drunk away. woke to find
the puppets came out for a shadow
play. dont forget this the
wanderer has to say, the peak it
lasts a minute or two, the climbs
up and down for days. so when
you find that time and the veiw
is all below, see it on your own
and forgive the wandering home.
